Love Notes

Based on Nahum 1:1-3:19, Psalm 145:17-21, Proverbs 30:16, Revelation 12:1-17.

GOD, You know us in all our ways, every hair on our heads, every pore and cell of our bodies, minds and hearts! For You made us, each one, by Hand, for Your purpose. O GOD. We know that You are righteous and that You will fulfill Your excellent plan. This day, we simply present ourselves before You, surrendered vessels, in living sacrifice for You to use and any way You want. We listen, we look, we learn and we follow You -- and You alone.

You tell us that we who call upon You and love You will be preserved, but that the wicked You will destroy and no one will gather them. We grieve for those who are being seduced by the harlot, the mistress of sorceries who sells nations and families to perdition. You have told us about the HAUGHTY MAN and about the HARLOT. Your Spirit compels us to pray fervently -- and efficaciously -- for all who are being lured into paths of arrogance and error. You call us to intercede for them, as someone(s) prayed for us when we were lost and gone astray.

And so we pray for all the world, for all peoples and all nations on this eve of Christmastide, that You may be born into human hearts and borne forth from us, each a manger, each a crucifix, each a torch! O Lamb of God, be born in us, be borne through us, and be born again, again and again, until at last, Your Victory shines forth from the Planet Earth. We watch and we wait, singing and believing that:

No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear LORD enters in.
