For by one offering, He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Hebrews 10:14
What brilliant consolation and comfort there is in receiving Your law in our hearts and minds and realizing that You did not come to found a religion, oh LORD, our Savior and the hope of all mankind. Thank You for coming to kindle a fire in us that is devouring every green tree and every dry tree in us -- everything that is OF us. Thank You that the blazing flames shall not be quenched until our fathers idols are completely burned and we no longer serve wood or stone. Gladly we are led by You into the new covenant You have forged for those You have transformed into a sweet aroma. Oh LORD, surround Your people as You wait until Your enemies are made Your footstool. We who are being sanctified are Yours, both now and forever. Thank You, Holy Triune Most Merciful and Gracious God, for Your consolation and comfort. It is finished!
