Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes that he might see the chariots of fire all around." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he could see.

Thank You, Father God, for hearing our cries. We need Heavenly Help! The people involved have had the wool pulled over their eyes, and they simply do not see that spiritual help is arrayed at the sidelines, eager to intervene. They do not see that cruel demon shaking our beloveds violently, and that our trying to come against them in our meager own strength is pathetic and ridiculous.
Reveal, I pray, oh God, that there are many "higher powers" vying for our very lives in the spiritual realm. We cannot see this realm, but by Your Mercy and Grace, You are able to gently pull the rim of that itchy wool cap off our eyes. Reveal! Reveal IQs that are so much greater than the IQs of the brightest among mankind. Reveal the powers and principalities against which victory is impossible -- except with You, GOD most high. Victory is possible -- and it is Your desire to come and save us, but only if we rely on You completely. The battle belongs to You, Holy Triune GOD. Mercifully lift the rim of the wool cap, as we stay watch from the bleachers, praying in faith, believing. Pull the wool off our human eyes -- in Jesus and by Your Holy Spirit we bring this prayer before You!
