Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you.
Psalm 55:22
The impossible is possible with You, God people softening to receive Your help and Love at long, long last; people enduring pain that is intolerable because You are there win the mist and in the midst. It is hard to see such suffering, and so many suffering, but we can also see that the walls are coming down, revealing vulnerability and frightened hearts underneath. Still, it is hard, and You hear me wondering why we have to suffer so mightily! But You are there, and You desire to be revealed to each life You love, Lord, though we do not see You or our need for You until we need You -- and then we NEED You. Therefore we whom You have retrieved pray and wait and watch in faithful trust, believing that what You forge in the furnace will emerge purified and strengthened. We did! To love You close-up and personal, deeper, higher, and truly, for You were revealed to us in the midst of trouble. You came to us and You saved us. Therefore we thank You even now, knowing that You are on the way again. Thanks and praises to You, o Savior!; glory to You, Lord Christ!
