Contemporary Psalms

4-7-13

A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a faithful ambassador brings health. Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, but he who
regards a rebuke will be honored.
Proverbs 13:17-18

Thank You, GOD, for teaching me that EGO must stand down, and that, when it has done so, You shall arise. Thank You for the evidence of my past that proves You are able to accomplish Your Way,without pomp, without ceremony, without title, gently leading those who love You, those who are in Your Care and Keeping. Thank You for staying close with us, LORD, so that we can clearly discern when it is You talking and not we ourselves. Thank You for making us supple clay in Your Hands who is the Potter. Keep us pliable, buy also resolute to navigate by Your Star, following You who alone knows the Way. It is challenging to both stay the course and make adjustments as You command. I remember our young son saying to me once, "If God said that, we'd better do it." Thank You, Lord, that Your sheep hear Your voice. and You know us, and we follow You.
