Then the commander of the LORDS's army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy."And Joshua did so.

I thank You, GOD, for calling us to "Jericho prayer" for those whose hearts have been hardened in life but are not too thick for You to cause to crumble and fall. Thank You for revealing that this is the sixth day of our march around the fortress, inside of which the enemy quakes because he senses the termination of his reign in that place. I hear You saying, "Thank you, daughter, for bringing Me the tomb." Thank You for the images You bring to my remembrance: Moses standing on holy ground and agreeing to go with You; Paul falling off his high horse because You met him on the road; Joshua leading Israel around and around until the final day and one great SHOUT! -- and the walls came tumbling down, and the sun came in -- our GOD, in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit I thank you that Sonlight is about to come forth!
