3-9-13
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but have now obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10
LORD! Giver of Life! Thank You for giving MEANING to the words we have in our heads and for birthing them into LIFE in our hearts by first-hand knowledge. It is so often through agony that we experience the truth of things, LORD. Allow them to awaken in us our need for You. Through these sadnesses of recent days, I pray that Your Spirit, oh God, would arise -- arise! I pray You would scatter the enemy, whose lies and wreckage abound, and that You would SING! And PROCLAIM Yourself amidst the ashes, rising from the ashes, assuring us that You have it all in Hand. May we stand in awe to see You gently gathering and releasing Your Comfort and Your Consolations. It is in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit I do pray!
