Thank You, Lord Christ, for coming into our midst to become The Mighty One, our Savior, born to die. Thank You for coming into our broken world to save us from our inherited condition. What a gift You have given! In Your Care, we are safe forever, and no one shall make us afraid. It is marvelous to be among those who trust in You and wondrous to hear You rejoicing over us with singing! We bow before You as we remember Your birth in such mean estate -- so lowly, and Your life on earth, Your Sacrifice, Your Victory over death. May a hush fall over all the earth tonight as we remember and sing gloria in excelsis!
