Love Notes

Based on Hosea 9:1-10:15, Psalm 139:13-16, 3 John 1-14.

Almighty and most merciful Father, I rejoice to see this beloved now walking in Your truth, embracing spiritual facts that cannot be seen or touched or heard by common sense or senses. Thank You for the supernatural work of redemption You have wrought in her by the HolySpirit! She is standing in awe of how good is Your Good news! No more will she strive to be "good enough," for she now knows in her knower that she is hid in the righteousness of Your Son, the Christ. She is like a baby chick under the wings of a brooding mother hen. This truth has been in her mouth and her mind, but yesterday it dropped deep in her heart. 

Therefore, now, I rejoice greatly, for Your love is working efficaciously through us in contact with everyone we meet. We need not be burdened, for Your Light flows from us to accomplish Your will. Ours is simply to listen and learn at Your feet, learning to discern Your still small voice and to follow wherever You lead. We are blessed to understand that Your sheep know Your voice and follow You. Our hearts are no longer divided, and we are no longer held guilty. We seek You diligently, LORD, trusting not in our own ways or the dictates of our own hearts. You knew we would be be Yours from the beginning, LORD. Your eyes saw our substance, eve before we were formed in our mother's womb. The days You fashioned for us were written in Your book when as yet there were none of them.

Thank You for forming our son, Your son, in this reluctant mother's womb. You made him in secret and skillfully wrought all things in my life to eventually bring him forth. Against all odds! I praise You for this tremendous gift, O GOD, saying again and again how marvelous are Your works! We eagerly look  to the day You come and rain Your righteousness on all the earth.
