Almighty GOD, thank You for Your Word of Life, the Scripture of Truth, through which You have fed us, strengthened us, equipped us for such a time as this and You continue with us, in us, through us to manifest Yourself in fellowship with us. We are amazed at the inestimable grace You are pouring out for us.
By Your Holy Spirit, we are granted the spiritual sight to see that You are light, pure and holy, that, in You, there is is no darkness at all. We confess our sins and receive Your forgiveness gratefully, cleansed from all unrighteousness as You manifest Your Life in us. Thanks be to Jesus by whom we walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship with You, O GOD Most High, and with one another by Your divine connections.
We remember how You brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand. Yet, ever since, we have sinned and done wickedly by following the dictates and desires of of our own hearts, calling evil "good" and vice versa. Today You tell us there is an invisible battle being fought for the people who are called by Your Name. Therefore, we will not fear, for we understand and set our hearts to understand, humbled before You, O GOD, knowing what will happen for You have told us.
Thanks to You, we know that all will be well. We have hope that is confident, declaring that You will cause Your face to shine on us, for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds but because of Your great mercies. Your city and Your people are called by Your name, and we look up. We are ready. Your oil is in in our lamps, and we are watchful, waiting...
We humble ourselves before You, grateful for Your mercy and might, surrendering ourselves to Your Power that enables us to do the next right thing, stepping from one patch of light to the next, one day at a time. Thank You for Your Word of Life which we have heard and seen, and we declare that eternal life with You, GOD, has been manifested to us in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for this blessed assurance. We stand in awe, grateful to be judged through the marvelous atonement of Jesus Christ.
