Love Notes

Based on Jonah 1:1-4:11, Psalm 144:1-8, Proverbs 30:69, Revelation 8:1-13.

LORD, what is man that You take knowledge and are mindful of him? We are like a breath, our days are like a passing shadow. Yet You know every hair on our heads! And You reach for us, stooping as low as You need to go, wooing us to rescue us and deliver us out of these great waters, even from the hands of those who speak lying words and whose right hands are right hands of falsehood.

May we, like Jonah, proclaim Your truth even to Ninevah, whose people cannot discern between their right hands and their left. Use us to reveal falsehoods and lies on the earth lest many die profaning Your name O GOD, not knowing what they are they are doing. May Your trumpet blast the clarion call, sounding clear and bright, piercing the darkness even down to the lowest parts of "the ship" and "the great fish", even to ocean's deepest  depths. May we, like Jonah, cry out from the belly of Sheol, that You may hear our voices and bring our lives up from the pit that others may believe and know that You are GOD indeed.

We live to offer ourselves with great thanksgiving, vessels for Your use and purpose. We surrender all we have and are to Your Power, praying for Your victories over darkness as the day approaches..
