Regarding the Time

Based on Isaiah 63:1-64:12; Psalm 115:14-18, and Philippians 1:1-30.

Oh GOD, You are indeed angry for we have sinned, and in these ways we continue, and we need to be saved. You, O GOD, are our Father! We are the clay -- You are our potter. May Your mercy extend to the children of men and to those who have not seen or heard that You are who You say You are. May they not go down in silence, but bless You, LORD, from this time forth and forevermore. May we who live in Christ give You praise -- at all times and in all circumstances, that the things which happen to us might turn out for the furtherance of Your Gospel in Christ everywhere we go as we walk through this broken world.

For us, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Magnify Christ in us, we pray, whether by life or by death. May we stand fast in Your Spirit, with one mind for the faith of Your Gospel, not in any way terrified by our adversaries. For to us, it has been granted not only to believe in Christ, but also to suffer for His sake. May we remain and continue in the joy of faith in You, that You may increase in us more and more -- You, O LORD, the Maker of the universe. Amen!
