GOD Most High, thank You for strengthening us to stand
fast, holding to what You have taught us by Your Word and Your Word Writ to
know when the mystery of lawlessness is already at work and that You who now
restrains will do so until Your restrainer is removed. Therefore Your people
speak Your Truth to and with one another, as iron sharpens iron, even as You
cause multitudes to accept strong delusion that they should believe the lie and
be condemned because they refused Your Truth and had pleasure in
unrighteousness.
The cry of the shepherds will be heard
and a wailing of the leaders of the flcok. Your wine cup of fury will make all
nations a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse. And You, O GOD
Most High, will roar from on high. You will roar against all the inhabitants of
the earth. We who belong to You are hearing Your call to us at this crossroad
of time.
For many have not listened nor inclined
their ear to hear all You have spoken through Your servants the prophets. Yet
You have chosen a people for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit to
believe in the Truth, to which You called us by the Gospel for obtaining the
glory of our LORD and Savior.Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Passover Lamb.
Therefore we stand fast in Your love, O GOD, who has given us everlasting
consolation and good hope by grace. We gratefully let You comfort our hearts
and as You establish us in every good word and work. As iron sharpens iron...
