Luke 3:21-22
When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized, and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him which said, "You are My beloved Son; in You I AM well-pleased."
We read that Jesus, who was known to men as the humble Nazarene
carpenter, was actually almighty God presented in the guise of a human life… “Opened
heaven” means that our LORD opened heaven to everyone. The Holy Spirit
descending like a dove is symbolic of the Holy Spirit life that Jesus can
communicate to every person…. By right of His death and resurrection and
ascension, our LORD can impart the Holy Spirit to any and every person.
