Contemporary Psalms

[For the LORD of Hosts says], I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them, and they shall increase as they once increased.
Zechariah 10:8

O God, our God, You are the one who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him. You tell us of "that day" -- the day when You will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. You tell us that Judah shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, and that she shall inhabit again her own place, which is Jerusalem.

Therefore, Father, we pray to remain ready -- steadfast in Christ and connected to the Throne Room of heaven by Your Holy Spirit. We are ready; we are listening for Your whistle! We look up and see puffy little clouds billowing like feathers. Help us keep our ears cocked and our hearts centered on You, O LORD, for we know that Your will come quickly. Even so, come, LORD Jesus. We pray for Your whistle!

This post is based on Zechariah 10-12; Revelation 19, and Psalm 149:1-4. The photograph above was posted yesterday on Facebook, who says this appeared in the sky at Palm Beach, Florida earlier this year.
