Their lies lead them astray, lies which their fathers followed...

Amos 2:4

LORD, it was You who brought us up from the land of Egypt, through the parted waters of the Red Sea, through forty years in the wilderness, through the parted waters of the Jordan River after that, to possess the land You promised, It is You who reveals Your secrets to Your servants to proclaim that the people do not know to do right. Therefore, You say that You will visit destruction, and the great houses shall have an end, yet we who trust in You shall be safe.

We who hold fast and repent shall walk with You in white, for You have made us worthy. You will keep us from the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world, and today You say, "Behold, I am coming quickly." Thank You for rebuking and chastening us to repent and to open the doors of our hearts to Your persistent knocking. May many let You come in and dine with them, and they with You. Thank You for overcoming for us, for hearing our prayers for many who know not what they do.

They know neither that they pant after the dust of the earth nor that they are following lies. For they cannot know You, LORD, unless You reveal Yourself and Your secrets to them. Therefore I cry out to You, LORD, that many who do not see will be granted Your Anointing Salve  and Second Sight to see and hear and let You in, that they may be clothed in white and confessed by You before the Father and His angels. Anoint the eyes of these hearts with Salve that they may see and be zealous and repent. May You grant to many an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches!
