Contemporary Psalms

10-16-13

Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD... [but]... Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose hope is in the LORD.

Jeremiah 17: 5, 7

In You Alone we glory, LORD, knowing that You know what we don't know and that You are more than able to shed Your Light or what needs to be revealed. Thank You that we trust in Your Mercy and Wisdom and Power to teach us all we need to Live in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You also for the fellowship of Your saints, believers who have been retrieved and brought into safe pastures, whose friendship we can trust as wise counsel. Most of of all, O Tender Shepherd, thank You for being the perfect pastor, the Great High Priest, and for carrying us in Your Arms through this broken world of woe. We look to the day when You have turned the earth 'round right!
