Contemporary Psalms

9-6-13

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterwards those who are Christ's
at His coming.
1 Corinthians 15:1-28

Father God, thank You for elucidating that there are just two Men in the Bible: (1) Adam and (2) Jesus Christ. Thank You that Your Church is Your Bride and that we belong to You through His death and resurrection. Thank You that we know what we know, though once we did not, now we do -- through and through, from head to toe. For now that Christ is risen, so also are we who live in Him as He abide in us by Your Holy Spirit, O God. Thus, it is Him, not I, not any of us in our own strength but in the grace of God that makes me what I am: Your child. Thank You for meeting me in the mist and in the midst! Thank You for purposing my life to point at Christ at the Center of Your Eternal Purpose, Christ, Who is risen from the dead and has been seen and known to us personally in order that we would not believe in vain.
