He feeds on ashes....
Isaiah 44:20
What an awesome God You are to reveal Yourself in Person, to honor and love us, to protect and shield is, to provide for us, even freeing us who are called by Your name, whom You created for Your glory. Thank You for bringing us OUT, with eyes to see and ears to hear, no longer blind and deaf, but instead saying, "You are the Truth, the Way, and the Life."
Thank You for forming a people for Yourself, we who declare Your praise and drink of Your Holy Spirit, and spring up like willows saying, "I am the LORD's." Thank You for redeeming us, for inhabiting us. We are Yours, for Yu have done it. We sing and shout and break forth into singing for other we know and love to be retrieved into these sweet pastures of plenty. No more dust and ashes! No more feeding, even unwittingly, on the emptiness of idols made by men. Scatter those idols, like smoke, by the wind of Your Holy Spirit and revive Your people to feed on You alone. Bread of Life! Living Waters! Oh Holy Triune God, have mercy and You did for us! Break forth in power! Free the captives, even the captive Christians. And hear us saying, "Thank You!" For only You are able to accomplish this. Thank You for the faith that says YOu are and You will, in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit, we declare it.
