He calls them all by name...
Isaiah 40:26
O God, Who is so great, yet able to know us -- each and all -- by name! How can this be? We cannot comprehend, and yet we know. For though the nations are as a drop in a bucket, counted as small dust on Your scales, yet You call for us individually -- as lambs, Shepherding us, gathering us with Your Arm, carrying us, leading us, helping us. This is why no thing is too small a matter for You. We all matter to You -- by name! I find this utterly amazing... incomprehensible... yet I know it is true. Such lavish love to have this knowing, this assurance. Thank You for proving in my life that those who wait on You, oh LORD, shall renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. All glory, laud and honor be unto You, LORD Christ, without Whom I would still be outside Your sheepfold, wandering around in the badlands, running out of bread and water -- and air! Thank You, Father Son and Holy Spirit, for saving me and bringing me into Fullness of Life in Christ!
