Contemporary Psalms

9-17-13

Their soul melts because of trouble; they reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and are at their wits' end. Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distress. He calms the storm... and guides them to their desired haven...
Psalm 107:26-30

LORD, I do not forget to thank You, for You have proven Yourself Alive and Real and Present - and eager to perform Your Word Writ, where it is spoken in faith belieivng. Therefore I awake and sing, entering my chambers and shutting the doors behind me, as it were, for mere moments until the indignation is past, knowing that You, LORD, will establish peace for us, the Believers who trust You. We know You will wipe away tears from our faces, and we will say, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him..." We will be glad and rejoice in Your salvation!

No matter what happens around us, LORD< we trust in You, for we know that, in YAH, is everlasting strength and the way of righteousness. O Most Upright, we seek You early and with diligence we do find Your counsel. We know You will establish peace for us, for You have also done many works in us. By You only we make mention of Your Name. Have mercy on all for whom we pray, that saints and sinners alike  may be delivered into You, Christ Jesus, in whom we live and move and have our being, in whom we are safe and free indeed, in whom we are, therefore, joyful and grateful beyond description, both now and forever. Amen.
