Contemporary Psalms

4-25-13

... and Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them.. and he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it.
Judges 16:29-30

LORD, thank You for the divine connections You have made, and help us to make disciples as we walk in this broken world. It is gratifying to be Yours, LORD, a living sacrifice and a living stone set into You, Who is not a temple made by human hands. Thank You for choosing us and for helping us remain set apart as we devote out lives to knowing You personally and more and more! In Your Mercy, reveal the ways in which are hearts are disobedient, unwittingly following the Angel of Light, who comes in camouflage. May Your people see by revelation insight all that is false or less than Life in You, LORD Christ. May You, Yourself, push the pillars with Your strength and bring down all false constructs. I remember Jericho; I remember Thebes; I remember Samson.
