Contemporary Psalms

4-24-13

A wise man will ear and will increase learning, and a man of understanding
shall attain unto wise counsels.
Proverbs 1:5

Thank You for ears that hear Your still small voice, oh God, that know You are pleased when we embrace Your gifts: practice without condemnation; being gentle on ourselves as we learn to let go and let You work in us, through us, and out of us as we live within this  broken world of woe. You do not condemn us when we drop off the path of Your process... You bring us back with wooing us through the discipline of quietude that always leads to listening. May we not only hear Your Will for us, but also do it, in Christ and by Your Holy Spirit; may we surrender to Your power in being one of Your own, one of Your lambs, safe in Your keeping, one among Your Flock With No Fences. Thank You, Lord, for leading me out to places I can hear Your Voice and follow. Thank You for You consolations, Lord Christ. Wherever You lead, I follow.
