Ezekiel 43:1-44:31; Psalm 134:1-3; Proverbs 29:7; I Peter 2:1-25

When you were hated for My sake and spitefully used, you did not revile in return. This is commendable, for you took it patiently, enduring grief and suffering wrongfully, knowing this was happening because you follow Christ Who suffered in the same way -- He, Who committed no sin -- He, Who was reviled much more viciously than any man has ever been, but He did not revile in return. It blesses Me when you stand before malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and evil-speaking, having compassion for those who are snarling and growling at you, knowing they are simply rebelling against My Light. Believing on My Son entails being put to shame by mockers and scoffers -- fools just like you were once. It is good when you remember this and seek My help during any and all trials of vilification.

This particular incident revealed to you that one of your ruling desires is your unrealistic hope of being understood rightly and treated fairly. That is a lust for vindication, and you saw it clearly, and your brought it to Me even in the direct "fire" invisible (yet real) hissing and spitting. You heard Me tell you to turn the other cheek, and you did. And you deposited that lust at My feet and then you set it on fire. Child, I gladly received that burnt offering and assure you, now, that it has been disintegrated and scattered like smoke in the Wind. It is removed from you as far as the East is from the West, and I see it no more. There will be more opportunities to practice, but you  climbed higher on this round, and closer, and deeper. Commendable!
