It is true, what your heart is proclaiming and exalting: that I AM all you need and ever will. The goal of any life is to become fully assured and comforted and calmed, indeed hid in Christ. It is true the goal of a person’s life is Life in Him. He won it for every single person and offers it abroad. But He is refused and dismissed and mocked and scorned -- rejected! Time after time! Remember, child, that It is He Who is being rejected. That’s a daunting prospect, I know, and it is frustrating to offer Bread to someone who is begging, starving -- and be rebuffed. I know! Persevere, however, for in spiritual realm, it is what we do: offering and offering until finally and at last someone receives it and comes “to.” Like you!
