3:1-18
Do
not go to Babylon means, for you, there will be a culture awash in worldly ways in which you will be surrounded but by which you will not be diseased. You
are Mine, and armored in Me, able to withstand the stench
and the stuff of this broken world.
Yours
is to plead the Blood of Christ over yourself, remembering that you are safe
because of Me and so are your prayers, which emanate from you through Me before
the Father. Trust Me to protect you and guide you through those who sneer and mock
and stand in derision. You will show no disdain, no contempt, but
instead, mercy, forgiving those who hate you or curse you or persecute you or
spitefully use you. You are Mine, and therefore, your skin cannot be thin (or
merely human). My shield! My buckler! You are armored in Me.
