Beware
lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition
of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to
Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and you are
complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and world.
Child,
many trust in lying words that cannot profit and say, “We are delivered to all
these abominations.” But go and see where I set My name at the first, and see
what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people who do not obey or
incline their ear to Me but stiffen their necks and follow the counsels of
their own hearts. So shall you say, “This is a nation that does not obey the
voice of the LORD their GOD nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has
been cut off from their mouth. Everyone has turned to his own course. Behold,
they have rejected My Word, so what wisdom do they have?
