Child,
fear takes hold of you quickly when you feel abandoned. This latest lesson is
in learning to think before you react; it is practice in responding, but not in
reflexive actions. It is good that you see these lessons for what they are:
gifts from Me. I desire to free you from rapid reflexes (yours are very rapid)!
Therefore I have revealed to you the rubber hammer that gently, though cruelly,
taps on you to cause them. Practice, child, It is good.
