I love this lost lamb, My child -- I love him fervently
and devotedly. I will be his Rock and Fortress, his Deliverer, his God, his keen
and firm strength in whom he will trust and take refuge. He will call upon Me, Who
alone is to be praised, and he shall he
be saved from his enemies. The cords of death (and streams
of ungodliness and torrents of ruin!) may surround him, but he will call upon Me, and I
will draw near to him. In his distress, he will cry to Me, and I will hear his voice and
reach down from on high and take him out of many waters.
