THE WALTZ OF RECOVERY

Step One says I am powerless over other people -- and places and things. When I first actually "got" that, I immediately also got an intervention that ended me up in Step Two. With evidence of my Higher Power's power. And when I got that, it became easier for me to Let Go and Let God. And so, I ended up in Step Three as if the first there steps were actually one-and-the-same.

It seems I have been caught up in a never-ending dance that goes like this: ONE, two three, ONE, two three, ONE two three! Ever since I entered twelve-step recovery 25 years ago, it's been the ONE two three dance. I absolutely LOVE it -- the recovery waltz, the waltz  of recovery.
