Recovery in the Bible (RIB)

WE ARE STANDING ON HOLY GROUND
Father, we thank You for teaching us to surrender to Your Power -- completely and utterly and absolutely -- even if we have to do it over and over again, minute by minute to keep our mitts off the situation, to keep it safely under Your Care and Keeping, entrusting it there. We also thank You that we live in Christ, our one mediator and advocate, and for assuring us He lives in us indeed. Therefore, though our circumstances may bring us to our Wit's End, we will not despair. Instead, we will embrace the place of powerlessness, which, we have learned through practice in The School of Christ, is Holy Ground. Thank You for the Paradox of Powerlessness, and for this photograph (above) that perfectly personifies how I feel when I cry out, "I can't; You can; I need to let You!" Amen.
