Recovery in the Bible (RIB)

Thank You, LORD, for revealing that prayer is not a perfunctory thing, but a penetration into a time of presence in Your Passion. Thank You for revealing Your bubble of unbusyness, so free of all the clang and clatter. This is where we come to transact business before You. Our job is simply to enter, bringing it -- bringing all of it. That's why prayer is the battle.

Help us daily to enter in, to penetrate through the clamor and the crowds. Help us acquire a taste for the Sound of Silence. Give us hearts to see and hear and discern and follow. We thank You, even now, knowing it is You who will win every battle.
