Based on Hosea 7:1-8:14, Psalm 139:7-12, Proverbs 29:30, 2 John 1-13.
Dear LORD and Father of mankind, thank You for the connections You have forged with other believers, especially one lady and her children whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also those who have known the truth, because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever. Thank You for her encouragement in calling the ministry joybringers. How sweet to receive, by Your Holy Spirit, such love from You for one another!
Especially now, as we live in a world filled with adulteries, a world in which few call upon Your name. Even Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples; he is a cake unturned. Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not know it; neither does his nation, who does not return to You either, LORD, nor do the people seek You, even in the midst of all this. Woe to them, for they have fled from You! You call to us from on high:
Set the trumpet to your mouth because they have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My Law. They set up kings, but not of Me. They made idols from their silver and their gold, but their calf is rejected. They have forgotten their Maker and built temples made by human hands. They are like a wild donkey, alone by itself, braying in the wind.
