Gathering in Christ

Luke 14:26
If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

Alone! Reliquish all! You must abandon all and fling yourself on God as a mere conscious being… we must give up our right to ourselves… A sanctified soul may be an artist or a musician, but he is not a sanctified artist or musician; he is one who expresses the message of God through a particular medium. As long as the artist or musician imagines he can consecrate his artistic gifts to God, he is deluded. Abandonment of ourselves is the kernel of consecration -- not presenting our gifts, but presenting ourselves without reserve.
