Contemporary Psalms

9-22-13

Strengthen the weak hands an make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you."
Isaiah 35:3-4

Father God, it is with joy and singing that I look to the day when the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. I trust Your promises that the parched ground shall become like a pool and that the thirst land shall become springs of water; tat a highway shall be there and a road, and that whoever walks that road, although a fool, shall not go astray.

Than You for the Highway of Holiness Who made where there no way, in Your Christ and by Your HolySpirit. Thank You for Your promise that we, whom You have ransomed, will return with singing and with everlasting joy on our heads. Thank You for Your blessed assurance that we, having obtained Your mercy and race, shall obtain joy and gladness -- and that sorrow and sighing shall fee away. I am honored to be among Your saints this morning, greet You with thanks and praise, rejoicing for the simplicity and freedom that You have granted us. I offer You this vessel, saying "Here I am, LORD" and know that You are saying to my Spirit, "Here also AM I."

This post is based on Isaiah 35:1 and 2 Corinthians:13. The photograph is from a Facebook page called Live Life in Color.
